Pastor Larry Hasemeyer

4 Places Of Prayer:

  • 1.    The Chamber of Prayer  (Matthew 6:6)
  • 2.    The Station of Prayer  (2 Chronicles 20:9)
  • 3.    The Wall of Prayer   (Isaiah 32:2)
  • 4.    The House of Prayer   (Mark 11:17)

TODAY:  The Chamber of Prayer

Matthew 6:6  (Passion translation)                                                                                                                                              5 “Whenever you pray, be sincere and not like the pretenders who love the attention they receive while praying before others in the meetings and on street corners. Believe me, they’ve already received in full their reward. 6 But whenever you pray, go into your innermost chamber and be alone with Father God, praying to him in secret. And your Father, who sees all you do, will reward you openly.

Build a Tent of Meeting     (Quarantine yourself!)

Exodus 33:7-11  (READ)

I hear the Lord saying, “Return to me and I will heal your land!  Set your gaze upon me and I will lead you through the fire and I will settle your heart in the chaos. Quarantine yourself with me and I will deliver you from this pestilence.  You have forsaken your first love and have deserted your chamber of prayer.

Your chambers have been crowded with intruders and there has been little room for my presence. You cannot sow into strange winds and not reap the whirlwind.  So easily fear has crept in among you and you have not been able to discern its destructive nature.  You say that you know me, but when calamity comes upon you, you do not know where to turn for your help.  You thrash about like a lion to loosen yourself from this trap that has snared your foot. You cannot get free. The mighty have succumbed to the whirlwind of fear and cataclysmic chaos. It grips the soul and weakens the heart with panic and anxiety.  Yet you claim to know me? Return to me and I will loose the trap. Return to me and I will purify your hearts and hope will return with courage and conviction. Run into the chamber of my perfect love and I will dismantle the power structure of deceiving darkness that shrouds your soul and captures your mind.

YOU will know me and YOU will vanquish the enemy with the words of YOUR mouth.  I will deliver the fatal blow to Corona when my people rise up as a MIGHTY VOICE IN THE LAND.  Call out to me and say, “YOU ARE OUR GOD!”  Cry out to me and I will cause your voice to become a sword of deliverance for the people. Choose today who will reign in your heart that I may fill your hearts with peace and that you may sing the songs of deliverance and dance the dance of freedom upon the rubble of your captivity. You will walk in the midst of pestilence and be free of its contamination.  The real enemy is not the plague, but the fear of the plague.  Is the enemy much greater than I? Am I too weak to overcome and destroy such a foe?  In the midst of fear I will release the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and you will know me in the intimate chambers of my presence and your timidity and insecurity will relinquish their hold and you will become bold as a lion. My whisper in the inner chamber of my love will become the ROAR that drowns out the voice of fear and destruction.  I am about to ROAR!  The lion is rising within you and your voice will become my voice and you will ROAR with such prophetic command that even the strongest foe will run in terror.

Come into my chamber and find me there.  Set your heart to know me.  Set your gaze upon me and I will show you great and mighty things and I will give you the delight of my heart and it will become for you a sword of destruction against this enemy.

Psalm 27:4-8                                                                                                                                                                                               One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.

6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord.

7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me.  8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.

Psalm 31:20                                                                                                                                            In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues. (lying devils)

Passion translation             Face to Face                                                                                                                                    So hide all your beloved ones in the sheltered, secret place before your face. Overshadow them by your glory-presence. Keep them from these accusations, the brutal insults of evil men. Tuck them safely away in the tabernacle where you dwell.

Psalm 32:6-7                                                                                                                                       Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. 7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

  •        "It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without heart."

Colossians 3:1-4                                                                                                                         Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
